Oklahoma Municipal Assurance Group Body Camera Grant Program

OMAG recognizes the limited resources currently available to our law enforcement agencies and wishes to provide a limited number of one-time grants through the Body Worn Video Camera Program.  A complete application package* includes the completed application form, a copy of the agency’s Body Worn Video policy/procedure, and a completed and signed user agreement that includes a financial commitment to maintaining the program. This grant will not pay for software, cloud storage costs, or any equipment used for video storage.

Applicant must be employed as a Police Chief with an OMAG member municipality and shall currently utilize Lexipol as their policy development resource. Grants will be awarded based on budgeted funds. Those funds will be awarded to agencies once the purchase has been made and supporting documents have been received. OMAG will accept applications from those municipalities that have recently purchased cameras or who are currently purchasing cameras to implement a Body Worn Video Camera Program.
